Microsoft to get into the CPU business...
According to the New York Times, Microsoft will enter the CPU business...
Who'd would have thought? Maybe Intel and AMD should start entering the OS business too...?

If Microsoft does, it'll only be for media center PCs and Xboxen.
The crazier rumor is that nvidia is going to join the x86 party with a CPU with an integrated GPU. That would cause major waves
And considering that AMD buyout of ATI, it's not at all unreasonable. Nvidia has the fab plants already to do it, they just need the tech.
